Why was the Leadership Academy created?
In 2009, the chair of the AICPA saw a lack of diverse young leaders entering the CPA pipeline. The AICPA Leadership Academy was created to provide an immersive experience to engage young emerging leaders with the profession, the AICPA and each other. Since then, more than 480 CPAs ranging in age from 25 to 35 have graduated from the program.
