Improving Public Sector Productivity

Since the Chancellor announced HM Treasury’s public sector productivity review, we have surveyed our UK members in both the public and private sectors over the Summer of 2023. This survey looked at the key barriers to productivity improvement, the opportunities for productivity improvement and how it is tracked across different organisations. This report highlights the key findings from this survey and outlines recommendations for how UK public sector productivity could be improved. We have shared these findings with HM Treasury.
